The service

NameSnag helps users monitor domains, generate name ideas, check domain availability, and receive email alerts when watched domains appear available. NameSnag is not a registrar, broker, marketplace, escrow provider, drop-catching service, backorder service, or legal or trademark advisor.

Accounts and plans

Google sign-in is required for watches and name generation. NameSnag may offer free and paid plans with different limits for watched domains, generated ideas, availability checks, and other features. We may change limits, features, and pricing over time.

Domain availability

Availability results are informational. Domain status can change quickly, registry data can be delayed or unavailable, and a domain may become unavailable before checkout. Always confirm availability at the registrar before paying for a domain.

Alerts

NameSnag checks watched domains on a scheduled basis and sends alerts when a watched domain appears available. We do not guarantee alert timing, deliverability, registry accuracy, or that you will be able to register a domain after an alert.

Payments

Paid subscriptions are handled through Polar. Billing terms, renewal timing, cancellation, taxes, and payment details may be shown during checkout or in Polar-hosted billing screens. Contact [email protected] for billing support.

Acceptable use

• Do not attack, disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse engineer NameSnag.
• Do not bypass rate limits, account limits, billing controls, or access controls.
• Do not use NameSnag for unlawful activity, abusive monitoring, spam, infringement, or harassment.
• Do not submit prompts, domains, or account information that you do not have the right to use.

Intellectual property

NameSnag and its software, design, branding, and content belong to NameSnag or its licensors. You keep responsibility for the names, prompts, and domains you submit, and for checking whether a name is legally usable.

Disclaimer and liability

NameSnag is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for lost domains, missed alerts, inaccurate registry data, lost profits, indirect damages, or damages above the amount you paid NameSnag in the three months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use of NameSnag after changes means you accept the updated terms.
